National Geographic Photo Camp series 2008 workshops will explore themes of the environment and conservation in the following locations: New York (May 23 - 26) Santa Monica (May 29 - June 1) Chesapeake Bay (June 5 - 8) Pine Ridge Reservation, South Dakota (July 11 - 14) Costa Rica (July 26 - 30) Bear's Den on the Appalachian Trail (August 11 - 14) Taos, New Mexico (October 16 - 19) Camden, Maine (October 20 - 24) Portland, Oregon (October 27 - 31) Udaipur, India (Late December/Early January)
Ongoing: VisionWorkshops’ Crossing Borders workshop, a partnership with Bates Middle School, began February 20, 2008, will be held at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. Chesapeake Champions, a partnership between the Annapolis Maritime Museum and VisionWorkshops, began January 30, 2008.

National Geographic Photo Camp Uganda Traveling Exhibition Visiting the following cities: Washington, D.C. Atlanta London Kamapala, Uganda
National Geographic Photo Camp Stories Washington, D.C. Currently on display at NGS Headquarters in Washington are stories by our 2007 Photo Camp students.
Erie Photo Camp Erie, Penn. An exhibition of photography and writings by young immigrants to Erie from Iraq, Bosnia, Somalia, Russia, Ukraine, Sudan, Mexico and Liberia, will be on display at the Blasco Library in Erie, Penn. April 1 - 30, 2008. Maryland Regional Programs Exhibitions Crossing Borders, Annapolis, Maryland The Crossing Borders exhibition features photographic work from 15 talented Bates Middle School ESOL students involved in a 10 week VisionWorkshops photography program. The exhibition will be on display at the Chaney Gallery in the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts. July 25 to September 12, 2008. Exhibitions of student work from the Identity Project and Chesapeake Champions will be on display in Annapolis during the spring of 2008.
