National Geographic Photo Camp series

2008 workshops will explore themes of the environment and conservation
in the following locations:

Ongoing:

VisionWorkshops’ Crossing Borders workshop, a partnership with Bates Middle School, began February 20, 2008, will be held at Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.

Chesapeake Champions, a partnership between the Annapolis Maritime Museum and VisionWorkshops, began January 30, 2008.

Currently on display at NGS Headquarters in Washington are stories by our 2007 Photo Camp students.

Erie Photo Camp
Erie, Penn.

An exhibition of photography and writings by young immigrants to Erie from Iraq, Bosnia, Somalia, Russia, Ukraine, Sudan, Mexico and Liberia, will be on display at the
Blasco Library in Erie, Penn.
April 1 - 30, 2008.

Maryland Regional Programs Exhibitions

 

Crossing Borders, Annapolis, Maryland

The Crossing Borders exhibition features photographic work from 15 talented Bates Middle School ESOL students involved in a 10 week VisionWorkshops photography program. The exhibition will be on display at the Chaney Gallery in the Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts.
July 25 to September 12, 2008.

 


Exhibitions of student work from the Identity Project and Chesapeake Champions will be on display in Annapolis during the spring of 2008.
